Wunschkinder plot
Professionally Marie and Peter are doing well, but their greatest wish remains unfulfilled: to start a family of their own. After several failed attempts along the natural path, they decide not to give up and want to adopt a child in Russia. After many months of preparation and a long wait, they set out on a journey to meet their future daughter Nina, in an orphanage several thousand kilometers from Germany. Little do they know that they are only at the beginning of a major tour de force against the Russian authorities, and at the same time facing the biggest challenge of their relationship. As they fight for their future child, the question arises: do they still have the same goal?
