Woman in the Dark plot
"BLONDE MYSTERY WITNESS!...To the Crime of the Century!"
When Nick Petzik, the leader of a gang of criminals, reads in the newspaper that a beautiful collection of jewels will be displayed at the 'Waldorf Jewelry Company', he wants to steal these jewels. Nick plans to sell these jewels back to an insurance company after the theft. Petzik calls on Gino Morello, a young and reckless Italian boy, whose brother Phil is a lawyer with the insurance company. Petzik is convinced that once Phil learns that his brother is one of the thieves, he will do business with the gang without asking the tough questions. But complications arise when Austrian young woman Anna Reichardt witnesses the robbery and recognizes Gino.
