Pinky Scariano, Allan Ross and Frankie Davis all enlist in the Air Force in hopes of becoming pilots one day. During their training, they meet and befriend Bobby Grills and Irving Miller. Their way to the top turns out to be harder than expected and not everyone manages to make it.
