Wild Oats Lane plot

"The story of a boy and girl who go astray but who are regenerated through love and find happiness"

A boy, who leaves Sing Sing prison and is bitter about life, meets Marie, a girl who is honest and whose father objects to their marriage. The boy leaves for New York City with the girl's promise to meet him there. When she arrives, he does not meet her because he is held captive by some criminals. Believing that she has been abandoned, she turns into an adventurer to make a living and he becomes a drug addict. Will the two ever be reunited?
