White Legion plot

The year is 1905. During the construction of the Panama Canal, a group of international doctors and scientists come together. They go in search of a cure for the yellow fever, called 'Yellow Jack'. While medical experts work under quarantine in an abandoned French outpost, native soldiers spray oil over miles of swampland, preventing the virulent mosquito from breeding. However, the team comes into conflict with the natives when Japanese scientist Dr. Nogi kidnaps an infected child to save her life.
