Wherever She Goes plot

Eileen Joyce is born in Tasmania. When she hears someone playing the harmonica, she becomes fascinated by music. Her parents move with their family to the gold fields of Western Australia, but Eileen's father's mine yields no profit and the family is forced to live in a tent. Nevertheless, Eileen receives an old piano for Christmas. She enters a local talent show and wins it. She turns out to be a natural talent.
