"A story so enchanting you'll wish it were real."

In 1844 the inhabitants of the island of Samsom left the island en masse, never to return. This was attributed to a curse that ruled the island. Seventeen years later, two children on the neighboring island of Bryher meet a strange old man. They call him 'Birdman'. Then a narwhal (whale) washes ashore and according to Birdman this means that the island of Bryher is now also cursed.
