What Comes Next plot

When Laura's father dies, Grant, an old friend of her deceased brother's with whom she once had an affair, returns to town to help with the funeral. His presence reminds Laura of the past and forces her to accept that her marriage is ending. While Grant is in town, Laura's daughter, Tanya, becomes interested in him and they begin a relationship, while she impatiently waits for her real life to begin when she leaves for college in the fall.
