17-year-old student Doris is an innocent, parentless girl who lives with her relatives. She is very unhappy and the dream of a full life seems far away. Then she meets a young man who knows and exploits her situation, ending up as a prostitute in a bar. However, Doris manages to escape this milieu and starts working as a nanny in Austria. There, the stepson in the family falls in love with her, but when her past comes to light, everything seems to go wrong again.
