When the career of smart, sexy and ambitious emergency room doctor Beth Wyatt cuts a gap between her and her family, she puts her trust in Finn, a friendly doctor she meets on the internet. To Beth's surprise, Finn turns out to be a woman. Distrustful of her motives, Beth cuts off contact until she gets into a fight with her husband Jake, which leads to a night out with Finn. Beth wakes up in Finn's bed not knowing what happened. She's been framed. But Finn uses a videotape of them in bed together to blackmail her. Beth soon realizes that she is in danger of losing not only her career, but also her family. She sees few alternatives and that leads her to take drastic measures.
