Way Past Cool plot

The friends, as they call themselves, are 12 and 13 years old and live in the poor neighborhoods of Oaktown, better known as Oakland, CA. When an influential 16-year-old drug dealer tries to stoke the group against their rivals in order to take over the neighborhood, they have no choice but to make a difficult decision to act like men.
