Twenty-year-old Mio has already lost both parents and helps out in her grandmother's rural guesthouse. But if she ends up in the hospital, she has to leave for Tokyo. The timid Mio struggles to fit in with the new environment until she learns that the bathhouse is under threat from a construction project.
