Washington Heights plot

"Washington Heights Get Out!"

Carlos Ramirez is a young cartoonist, eager to leave the Latin Quarter (Washington Heights) in which he lives and start working as a comics artist in New York. But when his father, who owns a shop in the Heights, is shot during an attempted burglary, Carlos is forced to postpone his dream and take over his father's shop. During that period, he finds out that if he wants to make it as a cartoonist, he must blend in with the society he comes from and use those experiences in his future work as a comics artist.
