Wanjia Denghuo plot

Zhiqing and Youlan live with their daughter in Shanghai just after the war. Zhiqing has pretended to his family that he is well-off and has sufficient wealth. That's why his family comes to Shanghai to live with him. When Zhiqing is also fired by his boss, who comes from the same village and was partly raised by Zhiqing's mother, he doesn't know how to take care of his family.
