Wang Pikul plot
Far away in the countryside is the small village of Wangpikul. Sorn, a young soldier, comes to visit his native village. He discovers that his old wooden house is unkempt and abandoned. Sorn's grandmother still lives in the village and is waiting for her scions to visit from Bangkok. Their everyday lives in the countryside are similar and little remarkable, until her grandson reports that he is taking his son to visit her.
