Vracenky plot

Brother and sister Honza and Petra Domnosil return to Prague seven years after the war with their divorced mother. Stalin's monument is on Prague's Letná, propaganda songs are heard everywhere, private shops are gradually disappearing, people secretly listen to the radio and talk about capitalist traitors. For ten-year-old boys like Honza, all this will be the worst; he's into messing around, fighting, and the Pioneer Group. His mother is a convinced communist until, after criticizing a show trial, she is arrested.
