Voyage vers la Mère plot

A young man named Maxim (Artem Alekseev) travels from Russia to the south of France to visit his mother at her home amid the high mountains in Montagne Sainte-Victoire. Maxim's mother is in poor health and when she dies abruptly, he is overwhelmed with grief. During the grieving process, he seeks contact with his estranged half-sister Marie Louise (Adèle Exarchopoulos), with the two growing closer through their shared loss.
