Voice from the Grave plot

Renee Perkins' chance encounter with Terry Deveroux has far-reaching consequences when Renee discovers she has spiritual gifts. Terry is brutally murdered in her own apartment and Renee experiences her terrors through visions and flashes. At first, Renee doesn't realize what's happening to her, but gradually realizes that Terry has chosen her as a medium to reveal the killer's true identity. Renee gets a new colleague for whom she feels strong antipathy. After some time she realizes why she doesn't like her new colleague, Adam Schuster: he is Terry's murderer. Renee and her husband Bill are hesitant to call the police because they don't want to jeopardize their social position. But Terry's mind won't rest as long as Renee refuses to cooperate in bringing the killer to justice.
