Vieljazagaid Iezaska Jáhkku plot

The true story of two brothers, Niillas and Ande Somby, and their struggle for the right to exist within the harsh reality of boarding schools in the 1960s. Here, colonial walls resisted every attempt at self-expression and left no room for dreams. The film follows the lives of two men who would later play a decisive role in the Sámi struggle for their rights and who continue to shape the debate on history and resistance today.
