Vidange plot

Mireille Bertillet, a humble judge in a provincial town and engaged to an annoying pharmacist, leads a routine life. When she is unexpectedly transferred to the Palace of Justice in Paris, she begins to dream of a great career in the capital and leaves her betrothed. In fact, she owes her appointment to a prosecutor, who deliberately promoted her file to better control an inexperienced judge. After all, she will have to deal with the questionable matters implied by some prominent figures of political and religious life. Mireille is starting to get fed up with all the bleak cases of corruption she's been assigned to.
