A winter evening. Victor, ten years old, runs away from home. Escape... fear... exhaustion... A fairground lights up in the night and Victor spots Mick, a young man on the carousel. Then he faints. The next morning, he wakes up with Triche, a quirky woman who sleeps during the day and works at night. It's not easy, a kid that just shows up. But Triche allows Victor to stay. He comes to life in her hands. And in Victor's eyes, Triche, the prostitute, becomes a fairytale godmother. They just needed a little love.
