Ylva is a young lawyer who has just graduated. She has studied hard for a long time and now she wants to relax. That is why she rents a house on the island of Väddö. This is not to the liking of her fiancé Bengt, who would rather take a trip with her. On the island, Ylva immediately becomes involved in the battle for a will. Her neighbor Frans is in danger of losing his farm.
