Lotte and Suse are twin sisters (both played by Inge Meysel) who have already celebrated their 75th birthday. They have taken different paths in life and therefore have only sporadic contact with each other. Suse heads a firm, while Lotte runs a flower shop. When Suse receives a threatening letter, she makes a cunning plan and asks her sister to take her place in the company for a few days. Lotte accepts her offer and when the mobsters kidnap her, Suse has no intention of paying ransom for her sister...
