Véronique ou L'Été de Mes 13 Ans plot

Véronique is a beautiful, introspective thirteen-year-old girl who is about to become an intelligent and beautiful young woman. Meanwhile, she is an outsider, a tireless observer of the curious behavior of others, the adults who surround her and live in ways that seem to her as bizarre as the rituals of a tribe of Eskimos. She goes on holiday with her godparents Jean and Anne and they tour the south west of France. According to Véronique, they already have the understanding and refinement that her own parents lack. However, as the tour progresses, imperfections appear in Anne and Jean.
