Verliebte Feinde plot

Reporter Kristina Bouvier (Iris Berben) is put on the trail by the editor-in-chief of banker Michael Enkhausen (Peter Sattmann), who is said to have been involved in dubious real estate transactions. She has to make a sensational report. However, she discovers that many pieces of the puzzle do not fit together and that the management has no intention of publishing her story at all. Michael, who is the competitor's house banker, wants to pressure them through her investigation so that he will not extend credit to their rival in the market. Kristina is an honest journalist and makes sure that everything goes differently than planned by giving her bosses a good cleaning.
