Vaterland plot

“Vaterland” is a drama set in an alternate reality in which Germany has won World War II. The film follows a detective who investigates the disappearance of a man whose past is closely linked to a state secret. Through this investigation, the protagonist discovers disturbing truths about the regime in power and about himself, which call into question his beliefs and identity.
