Vash Syn i Brat plot
At the beginning of the Siberian Spring, old Yermolay is surprised to find his eldest son Stepan on his doorstep. Sentenced to prison for participating in a drunken brawl, he managed to escape three months before his release. His family from the countryside gathers to celebrate his arrival, but in the evening a policeman comes to take him away.
