Vara: A Blessing plot
In a small Indian village, Lila learns the traditional Bharatanatyam dance from her mother Devadasi, who runs a dance school. Shyam, a lower-caste boy who dreams of becoming a sculptor, has a crush on Lila. She wants to devote her whole life to the god Krishna. When Shyam asks her to model for the sculpture depicting a goddess, she agrees without hesitation.
