"WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING A DEVIL?"
Young Tsugio lives in a small Japanese village with his grandmother. The village has a serious shortage of men because many have been called up to fight against the Allies; something the patriotic Trugio also longs for. In their desire for companionship, the women often cheat. When Tsugio one day finds out about such an affair, it doesn't take long before he himself is seduced by the lonely women. However, when he is diagnosed with tuberculosis, everyone turns against him and he is banished from the village. He wants revenge.
