Uptight plot
"A man on the run. A life at stake. A people about to explode."
Up Tight! Set in the days following the assassination of Martin Luther King. The film follows a group of angry black revolutionaries who raid a munitions factory, killing an old guard. One of the gang members, Tank (Julien Mayfield), was too drunk to participate in the robbery and was expelled from the group. Out of revenge, Tank considers reporting the gang leader to the police in order to earn a hefty reward.
