Unter den Palmen plot

In this feature film, shot entirely in Rotterdam, the German couple David (Helmut Berger) and Tanja (Sheri Hagen) are maintained by Ludwig (Udo Kier), David's half-brother. Ludwig has shady business to do and is therefore temporarily staying in the port city. David and Tanja have followed him and are staying in a hotel. They get through the days committing petty robberies. When David finds a photo of a beautiful young man among the loot from a robbery, his life is turned upside down. A suffocating past will have to be dealt with.
