Untamed Love plot
"Is six-year-old Caitlin a menace to society... or one of its victims?"
The severely traumatized, six-year-old Caitlin is in danger of being placed in an institution because of her unruly and aggressive behavior towards classmates. Margaret, a teacher who is in charge of a small class of students with intellectual and/or psychological disabilities, takes care of Caitlin until there is room for her in an institution. At first, Margaret is anything but pleased with the arrival of Caitlin, who threatens the safety of the other children in the class because of her deviant behavior. Slowly but surely, Margaret gains Caitlin's trust and the question arises whether Caitlin really belongs in an institution. The film is based on the novel 'A Child in Need', by Torey Hayden, a British teacher who works with behaviorally impaired children in special education.
