Unpublished Story plot
English journalist Bob Randall witnesses the British forced to withdraw from Europe via Dunkirk in May 1940. Bob returns to London to resume his work, but is confronted by bombing by the Germans. During one of the bombings, Bob meets the young and inexperienced journalist Carol Bennett in a bomb shelter. Through Carol Bob comes into contact with the pacifist movement 'The People for Peace', but he has to realize that he has been shadowed from that moment on. Bob goes to investigate, but he soon has to deal with kidnappings and murder. He suspects that German spies are active in London.
