Une Partie de Plaisir plot
An open-minded intellectual talks to his wife about the same sexual freedom he allows himself. However, when she actually takes his advice, he turns out to be unreasonably jealous. After the necessary verbal and physical humiliation she leaves him, but despite an affair with an Englishwoman, he tries to win her back, among other things through manipulation of her daughter.
