Haunted by a childhood in war-torn Beirut, shy artist Leah has longed from an early age for a place and a companion to make her feel safe. She eventually managed to find both in high school when a romance blossomed into a marriage for life. Leah's husband, Neil, subsequently built a farm in the remote hills of Andalusia. But now he's gone. After his sudden death, Leah invites old friends to her farm and uncovers a shocking plan. Before the weekend is over, the friends must reveal secrets from the past that will drive her to a devastating choice.
