Uncle Tom's Cabin plot
1852. Tom is a Negro slave who can read and write. His master has to sell him with a little boy. However, his mother runs off with it across the river. Tom finds a good family but later learns the horrors of a master with a whip. The home front tries to buy him back. Based on the book of the same name by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
