Una Vida: A Fable of Music and the Mind plot

dr. Alvaro Cruz is a disheartened neuroscientist working in present-day New Orleans. He meets a singer named Una Vida, who has a collection of old blues songs, but she suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Stompleg is her guitarist and guardian and hits all the right notes. Cruz plans to help the singer bring the city of New Orleans and the jazz that made her famous together.
