Clara Mataro also has to take care of her family after every long day at the factory. Things are going badly for her and she is being examined. Clara turns out to have pneumonia and has to go to a sanatorium. The family sees this mainly as a financial loss, but for Clara herself it is a new life for a while. In the sanatorium she makes new friends and regains her self-confidence. Then her family is on the doorstep to pick her up...
