Un Singe sur le Dos plot

Francis is a successful salesman at a renowned car dealership. It still achieves high sales figures, although it has recently been surpassed by others. But his excessive alcohol consumption leads him to increasingly lose control of his behavior in front of his family and friends. The reactions are irritation at his friends and fear and despair towards his wife. Once the series of dominoes starts falling, there is no end to it. He loses everything: his job and reputation with everyone else, his wife, his son and all his money. Eventually he ends up on the street as a bum. When one of his fellow sufferers dies after a coma from alcohol abuse, Francis meets Louis, who has escaped his alcoholism thanks to Alcoholics Anonymous...
