Un Homme d'État plot

A few weeks before the presidential elections, the outgoing president of the republic, Jean-François Vanier, is in last place in the polls. As leader of the most powerful party in the government, he seeks a solution to his problem. For him, the votes of the far right are an option, but he could also go left and try to beat Robert Bergman, the leftist and emblematic figure of French political life, who has retired to a small village in the Gers department.
