Un Creux dans Mon Coeur plot

19-year-old Henri is unexpectedly confronted with the finiteness of life. Humans are extremely vulnerable, and life is not eternal, the teenager discovers. At various points along the road in his village are crosses with pictures, flowers and stuffed animals. To protect himself from pain and grief, Henri has decided to isolate himself from his surroundings.
