Um Céu de Estrelas plot
Dalva is a young woman. She still lives with her frustrated and bitter mother, but if it were up to her, not for much longer. She's won a prize in a hairdressing competition; she's been invited to a hairdressing workshop in Miami. For a poor woman in São Paulo, that's like a trip to paradise. Dalva packs her suitcase, but she hasn't yet mustered the courage to tell her mother about her departure. Then the doorbell rings, and Dalva's one-way ticket to hell begins. Standing before her is her ex-fiancé, Victor, an aggressive, unemployed steelworker with the body of a Chippendale.
