Um Adeus Português plot

The film tells two stories. One, filmed in black and white, is set in 1973 in the jungles of Mozambique. A lost group of Portuguese soldiers fight a hopeless battle against an unseen enemy. The second story, in color, is about a couple who in 1985, after twelve years, are still struggling with the loss of their son in Africa. Though it's not really talked about.
