Uli, der Knecht plot

Uli is a farmhand who pays more attention to drink and women than to his work. But his boss manages to turn Uli into a useful servant. His work is widely praised, after which Joggeli, a large landowner, asks him to become a foreman on his farm. Uli accepts the job and thus meets the beautiful daughter of his new employer. But then he will have to make a choice between her and his beloved Vreneli.
