Twist of Faith plot

Orthodox Jew Jacob Fisher lives with his family in New York. He likes to sing and is an amateur songwriter. But after witnessing the murder of his wife and children, Jacob leaves everything behind and wanders aimlessly on his own. He ends up in a small Alabama town where he meets single mother Nina. Thanks to her and the gospel choir she is part of, Jacob is slowly coming out of the valley again.
