Turup plot
Chess is a popular pastime in Bhopal, India. Competitions, which also take place along the road, bring men together in a friendly and sometimes unfriendly way. For some, morality and religion are the pawns, causing tensions to rise when a tournament gets underway. However, the men are just the most visible players. A domestic worker with a secret hobby, a former journalist struggling with married life and a young woman in love push their limits and challenge the rules of the game.
