The grower of taro roots Saili lives with his beautiful wife Vaaiga and her teenage daughter Litia. Their peaceful and happy existence is not conventional. Vaiga has been banned from her native village for many years. Saili sees serious threats to his plantation and his family does not recognize his paternal title. Life gets even more complicated when Litia's beauty blossoms and she begins to get the attention of the young men in the village.
