Tsuruhachi Tsurujirô plot

Tsurujirô is a Japanese folk singer assisted by Tsuruhachi on the shamisen (traditional Japanese string instrument). Although the duo is popular, he often bickers about her music. As a result, their relationship leads to a rift. Tsuruhachi marries a benefactor, but after a joint performance she feels that music comes above her marriage.
