Toukou no Ki plot

'Translucent Tree' is about Chigiri, a middle-aged divorcee who takes care of her teenage daughter Mayu and her ailing father Kaho. She leads a mundane and somewhat hopeless life until Go, a TV producer from Tokyo, visits the village where Chigiri lives. There's a tree over there where he and Chigiri shot a TV spot 20 years ago. His memories of her, the tree and the unrequited love of the past make the hearts of the two beat faster as they rediscover love.
