Total Loss plot

Total Loss starts on New Year's Eve, five minutes to twelve. A car speeds along a deserted highway. Erin three young men on their way to a party. They are engaged in an argument that reaches a climax just as they rush into a tunnel, where they unexpectedly come across a roadblock. In the split second before they roll over, Reinier, Duco and Jeroen look back on the absurd circumstances under which they met and on their lives, in an attempt to reconstruct how they ended up in this situation. It is five to twelve on the last day of the old year. For Reinier, Duco and Jeroen, it is the last chance to come to terms with themselves.
